Code of Conduct


DISCIPLINE AND CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Self discipline is the best discipline. All students are expected to observe rules and regulations to enable the smooth working of the college and keep harmony, silence and educational atmosphere in the premises.

  2. Students are prohibited from doing anything inside or outside the College that with interfere with its orderly administration or affect its public image. No outside influence, political or any other should be brought in to the college directly or indirectly.

  3. Students should always carry their valid College Identity Card in College and it should be produced whenever demanded by any of the College Staff.

  4. During the conduct of lectures, Students should not loiter in and around the College premises.

  5. Students should make careful use of College Books. Furniture, Laboratory equipments and the College property in general. The cost of damages to it, if any, would be recoverable from students either individually or collectively as the case may be.

  6. Students shall not organize on their own picnics, excursions, trips etc, without prior written permission of the Principal.

  7. Smoking, Guthka chewing, use of cell phones and Ragging are strictly prohibited. Offenders shall be liable to face legal action.

  8. Students resorting to unfair means at the exams will be dealt in accordance with the provisions of the Govt. of Maharashtra Act. No. XXI of 1982 and the Maharashtra Universities Act. 1994

  9. Only special notice shall be read out in classroom. Students should see the notice board daily and keep themselves well informed about the various notices that may be put up there from time to time.

  10. In case of any problem, personal or academic, students’ should report to the Prof-in-charge of their respective class, Junior College Supervisor, or the Faculty In-Charge, Who will help them solve their problems.

  11. Students are expected to make full use of the academic facilities provided to them by the college.

  12. The powers relating to the disciplinary action in the college will vest with the Principal and his decision in this respect shall be final. Anyone who violates the code of conduct will be severely dealt with accordingly.

  13. In order to make students aware of the Dignity of labour students and staff to work in the college premises on every Saturday from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm for the beautification of the campus.

  14. Use of Mobile phone / Cell phone is strictly prohibited in the college premises.

RAGGING

Ragging of students physically or mentally is a black sport on the society and is a cognizable offence. The students who have to face “Ragging “may lose their mental stability and this could spoil their life. All the students are requested not to do such in human and cruel act and should give it up completely. If any student found involved in ragging of Junior or any students, the matter will be handled very seriously. The student may be suspended from college or rusticated and the case may be handed over to police. The students are warned not to involve in such acts. On the other hand they should extend co-operation and help junior students.
